DESCRIPTION:ABOUT THE PROGRAMME : \nThe increase traction for finance and markets to play a leading role to support achieving the goals of the United Nation’s sustainable development and more specifically climate change have witnessed unprecedented global responses. Participation of international bodies and agencies\, regulatory and supervisory authorities (RSAs) and financial markets have witnessed significant development and growth in sustainable finance and investment practices. \nThe workshop on Sustainable Finance and Investment aims to shed light on the development of sustainable finance globally including development of sustainability principles\, standards\, best practices and frameworks with a view to shift and reorient finance and capital\, including via climate and Islamic finance\, to support the objectives of public good\, change the economy into one that is environmentally-sustainable and promote climate resilience.
