Participants will engage in guided reading and discussion of two foundational classical works:
* Al-Muwafaqat fi Usul al-Shari‘ah (الموافقات في أصول الشريعة) by Imam al-Shatibi – a cornerstone text on Maqasid Shariah and the higher objectives of Islamic law
* Al-Qawa‘id al-Kubra (القواعد الكبرى)by Sheikh ‘Izz al-din ibn ‘abd as-salam – a seminal work on legal maxims in Islamic jurisprudence

Note: These two books will serve as key references for the training. Please note that they are not included in the training fee. We recommend purchasing them in advance.
